Great book of Monet's art. A simple download to my Fire. I enjoy browsing his work. A great price for this full volume of work.
As ever a wonderful collection of Monet's paintings. I love all his work and having been to Giverney where he lived and painted the
water lily paintings , looking at them all again makes it very enjoyable. I think the Delphi Classics are a Treasure' to have on my
ereader.
The book is an excellent way to have the works of Monet in your possession to study. I am developing my own impressionistic style of art so Monet is an inspiration to me.
This book has a lot of paintings of Monet. As well gives you an impressionist background on other artisans key within the movement.
Our interest was in the works of Monet and, in that regard, the book did a good job. The first section offered a little insight to accompany a selection of works. What follows is a strange brew there is repetition there are (far too many) typographical errors an little attempt appears to have been made to arrange the pictures in logical groups. This shows a regrettable absence of care. The final section challenges the average reader how many pages of turgid (and rather pompous) opinion will we read before mumbling "enough!"?
